Operation Toy Train is in our 7th year! Please join us December 5, 6, 12 & 13, 2015 as we collect toys for children in the north Jersey area. The Toys for Tots program requests NEW and UNWRAPPED toys for ages infant to 16 years old. Please consider picking up a toy to donate as you begin your holiday shopping. It’s never to early to start! Help fulfill a child’s wish this holiday by putting presents under their tree. Thank you in advance for the continued interest and support of this train! We are proud to assist the Marines in their mission to help needy children in our area have a better holiday. This train collects donated toys in the area to be distributed by the Marines at another time. Operation Toy Train 2014 collected over 25,000 new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.

In 2013, more than 10,000 toys were collected on the train. All toys collected will be distributed to needy families in the area. Along the route, the train will stop at 5 locations in NY where members of the public can drop off toys, see Santa Claus, experience a variety of working railroad equipment, and meet members of the Marine Corps.
Members of the public are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys at various collection points along the route in the first two weeks of December. At each stop, one or more businesses or organizations has a large collection box. All information will be posted to https://www.facebook.com/OperationToyTrain
